1 ExifTool is a platform-independent Perl library plus a command-line
2 application for reading, writing and editing meta information in a
3 wide variety of files.
4 ExifTool supports many different metadata formats including EXIF,
5 GPS, IPTC, XMP, JFIF, GeoTIFF, ICC Profile, Photoshop IRB, FlashPix,
6 AFCP and ID3, Lyrics3, as well as the maker notes of many digital
7 cameras by Canon, Casio, DJI, FLIR, FujiFilm, GE, GoPro, HP,
8 JVC/Victor, Kodak, Leaf, Minolta/Konica-Minolta, Motorola, Nikon,
9 Nintendo, Olympus/Epson, Panasonic/Leica, Pentax/Asahi, Phase One,
10 Reconyx, Ricoh, Samsung, Sanyo, Sigma/Foveon and Sony.
