1 OpenAL Soft is an LGPL-licensed, cross-platform, software
2 implementation of the OpenAL 3D audio API.
3 OpenAL provides capabilities for playing audio in a virtual

5 Distance attenuation, doppler shift, and directional sound
6 emitters are among the features handled by the API.
7 More advanced effects, including air absorption, occlusion,
8 and environmental reverb, are available through the EFX
9 extension.
10 It also facilitates streaming audio, multi-channel buffers,
