7 Ce cdrom est un système autonome Live, il vous suffit de démarrer sur le CD
8 (booter) et SliTaz se lance en mémoire vive (RAM), sans toucher à votre système
9 actuel. SliTaz peut fonctionner des mois entiers sans redémarrer, le système
10 peut fonctionner dans 24 Mb de mémoire vive et sur des machines sans disque dur.
11 Mais SliTaz est aussi pleinement installable sur un disque dur et largement
12 extensible via le gestionnaire de paquets et la compilation de nouvelles
13 applications depuis les sources.
15 Une fois le système lancé, vous disposez d'un shell ash. Le système fournit
16 plus de 200 commandes Linux, navigateur web, client de chat IRC, support IDE,
17 eth0, usb, le système X et bien plus {...}.
19 SliTaz peut être utilisé pour réparer, et tester un disque dur avec fdisk,
20 hdparm, ou les outils e2fsprogs. Le système et aussi pleinement installable
21 avec l'outil slitaz-installer.
23 Slitaz GNU/Linux est distribué sans aucune garantie et publié car
24 potentiellement utile. SliTaz n'as aucune prétention, nous ne sommes que des
25 passionnés par l'informatique libre, qui aimons la liberté et le partage. Sur

34 SliTaz is a micro GNU/Linux distro using BusyBox, a Linux kernel, and GNU
35 free software. SliTaz also use goodies from the Debian project. The goal of
36 SliTaz is to have a GNU/Linux distro working entirely in memory (RAM). SliTaz
37 boots with Syslinux, provides more than 200 Linux commands, a SSH server/client
38 powered by Dropbear, rescue tools, and much more {...}.
