1 The logrotate utility is designed to simplify the administration of log files
2 on a system which generates a lot of log files.
3 Logrotate allows for the automatic rotation compression, removal and
4 mailing of log files.
5 Logrotate can be set to handle a log file hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or
