1 FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec, an audio format similar
2 to MP3, but lossless, meaning that audio is compressed in FLAC
3 without any loss in quality.
4 This is similar to how Zip works, except with FLAC you will get
5 much better compression because it is designed specifically for
6 audio, and you can play back compressed FLAC files in your favorite
7 player (or your car or home stereo, see supported devices) just
8 like you would an MP3 file.
