1 Apache FOP (Formatting Objects Processor) is a print formatter
2 driven by XSL formatting objects (XSL-FO) and an output independent
3 formatter.
4 It is a Java application that reads a formatting object (FO) tree
5 and renders the resulting pages to a specified output.
6 Output formats currently supported include PDF, PS, PCL, AFP, XML
7 (area tree representation), Print, AWT and PNG, and to a lesser
8 extent, RTF and TXT. The primary output target is PDF.
