1 # Aufs (Advanced multi layered unification filesystem) support
3 Aufs is a stackable unification filesystem such as Unionfs, which unifies
4 several directories and provides a merged single directory.
6 In the early days, aufs was entirely re-designed and re-implemented Unionfs
7 Version 1.x series. Introducing many original ideas, approaches and
8 improvements, it becomes totally different from Unionfs while keeping the basic
9 features.
