1 Rsync is a file transfer program for Unix systems.
2 Rsync uses the "rsync algorithm" which provides a very fast
3 method for bringing remote files into sync.
4 It does this by sending just the differences in the files
5 across the link, without requiring that both sets of files
6 are present at one of the ends of the link beforehand.
