1 The primary goal of the Network UPS Tools (NUT) project is to provide
2 support for Power Devices, such as Uninterruptible Power Supplies,
3 Power Distribution Units, Automatic Transfer Switches, Power Supply
4 Units and Solar Controllers.
5 NUT provides a common protocol and set of tools to monitor and manage
6 such devices, and to consistently name equivalent features and data
7 points, across a vast range of vendor-specific protocols and connection
8 media types.
10 More than 170 different manufacturers, and several thousands of models
11 are compatible.
