1 Gammu is the name of the project as well as name of command line utility,
2 which you can use to control your phone.
3 It is written in C and built on top of libGammu.
5 Gammu command line utility provides access to wide range of phone features,
6 however support level differs from phone to phone and you might want to
7 check Gammu Phone Database for user experiences with various phones.
9 Generally following features are supported:
11 * Call listing, initiating and handling
12 * SMS retrieval, backup and sending
13 * MMS retrieval
14 * Phonebook listing, export and import (also from standard formats such
15 as vCard)
16 * Calendar and tasks listing, export and import (also from standard formats
17 such as vCalendar or iCalendar)
18 * Retrieval of phone and network information
19 * Access to phone file system (note that some phones work also as USB
20 storage devices and those are not accessible through Gammu)
