1 This module provides a Perl interface that allows the reading of
2 files or buffers that have been compressed with a variety of
3 compression libraries.

7 RFC 1950
8 RFC 1951 (optionally)
9 gzip (RFC 1952)
10 zip
11 zstd (Zstandard)
12 bzip2
13 lzop
14 lzf
15 lzma
16 lzip
17 xz
19 The module will auto-detect which, if any, of the supported compression
20 formats is being used.
