1 FUSE (Filesystem in Userspace) is an interface for userspace programs
2 to export a filesystem to the Linux kernel.
3 The FUSE project consists of two components:
4 the fuse kernel module (maintained in the regular kernel repositories)
5 and the libfuse userspace library (contained in this package).
6 Libfuse provides the reference implementation for communicating with
7 the FUSE kernel module.
