paul@34 | 5 This package provides SliTaz documentation installed on the system by default. |
pankso@119 | 6 With the cooking version we just provide some basic information and the |
pankso@119 | 7 Handbook and with the stable version we also provide the Release Notes. |
pankso@31 | 8 |
paul@104 | 9 Desktop files are also provided to have a menu entry and an icon on the users |

pankso@119 | 13 Handbook |
pankso@31 | 14 -------- |
pankso@119 | 15 The story started with a nice and static Handbook, translated by greate |
pankso@119 | 16 contributors from all over the world but one day the project decided |
pankso@119 | 17 to put all documentation on a wiki site. It was not a so good idea, no |
pankso@119 | 18 change in the handbook and no more static and packagable documentation as |
pankso@119 | 19 well as any real official reference documentation. |
pankso@0 | 20 |
pankso@119 | 21 So in spring 2012, Claudinei asked Pankso if a new handbook would be fine. |
pankso@119 | 22 The anser was more than positive and the repo was created. The goal is |
pankso@119 | 23 to have a official documentation, unmodified by anonymous users, in pure |
pankso@119 | 24 HTML so it can be packages with a date string as version. |
pankso@119 | 25 |
pankso@119 | 26 We use this repos for collaboration and the mailing list. |
