     1.4 +A service that allows applications to request some extended actions for a list
     1.5 +of files depending on their mimetypes and some other constraints. Any user can
     1.6 +extend their applications by adding custom actions.

     1.8 +Similar to thunar-actions but distributed via dbus, any application can take
     1.9 +advantage of this service. extended-actions use traditional desktop files and
    1.10 +extend its format to configure special action(s) on files. Unity already
    1.11 +extended the desktop file application format with its quicklist.
